2. The safety rope manufacturer suggests that both ends of the safety rope should be fixed on a sturdy and reliable framework, with no less than 2 turns wrapped around the framework. When in contact with the edges and corners of the framework, padding should be added.
3. The fixed connection of the safety rope end should use a rope clamp (also known as a safety rope clamp), and the rope clamp pressure plate should be at one end of the long end of the steel wire rope. The number of rope clamps should not be less than 3, and the distance between rope clamps should not be less than 6 times the diameter of the steel wire rope; The safety clamp should be installed about 500 millimeters away from the last clamp, and the rope head should be released for a safe bend before being clamped with the main rope.
4. The fixed height of the safety rope should be 1.1-1.4m; A fixed support point should be set up every 2m interval; The sag after fixing the safety rope should be 10-30mm.
5. Hand held horizontal safety rope is only used as a support rope for high-altitude workers during walking in special situations, and is strictly prohibited from being used as a suspension point for safety belts. Regular inspection should be carried out to check for any looseness in the fixed end or fixing point, as well as for any damage, corrosion, or breakage of the safety rope.
